The Ambassador

H.E Inza Camara, Consul General of Côte d’Ivoire in New York, Delegate General of Economic Promotion Service of Côte d’Ivoire to the USA, Canada and Mexico

In the aftermath of the socio-political crisis in 2011, Côte d’Ivoire has risen from its ashes thanks to the ambitious National Development Plan (PND) of H.E Alassane Ouattara the President of Côte d’Ivoire. While implementing new policies, he has developed new strategies, promoted a new economic diplomacy and performed what many observers call the “Second Ivorian Miracle”.

By setting this pace, he has been diligently leading Côte d’Ivoire to the road of emergence by shedding a light on its economic, natural and human assets while boosting business tourism and searching of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). The effective implementation of this reform has resulted in the creation of External Economic Promotion Services (SPEE), in particular the SPECI-USA, which embodies the continuity of our President’s progressive vision.

Furthermore, this service embodies the promotional action of the Ivoirian economy abroad as well as economic bureaus, diplomatic services, representants of CEPICI. Since its creation, SPECI has undertaken, in its covered area, a well-targeted action of promotion prospection and business intelligence to highlight main growth sectors to American, Canadian and Mexican economic actors. Through our activities, on one hand, we have strengthened diplomatic relations between Côte d’Ivoire and North America and on the other hand, we have signed Memorandum of Understandings, partnerships, contracts etc.

We invite North American investors to come to Côte d’Ivoire. This country is full of opportunities with growth sectors. Our service is available to all investors wishing to embark on the Ivorian adventure; our skills, local knowledge and the reactivity of the team will lay the cornerstones of your project.
