The early stage of US Prosper Africa
After resuming office, Donald Trump unveils his new program; indeed, the American government wishes to address the African question by adopting a new approach.
Its strategy invites the two continents to have better economic relations by focusing on private investments and bilateral free trade agreements; US Prosper Africa’s also a response to the Chinese and Russian competition.
US – Côte d’Ivoire: Prosper Africa
The Economic Promotion Service of Côte d’Ivoire to the United States, Canada and Mexico in collaboration with the SBA agency, organized the first edition of the Prosper Africa Forum in Philadelphia; This event, which took place on November 7 and 8, 2019, was an affirmative response to the initiative of the American government; it was also coordinated by the African and American Business Council of the City of Philadelphia;
The main objective of this forum was to strengthen commercial relations between the United States and Côte d’Ivoire in the following sectors: health, agriculture, education and construction. More than 200 American and African companies attended the event.
