The Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, is a West African country with an area of 322,462 km² and an estimated population of 29.4 million in 2021. This country has strong economic assets and is considered a regional power. According to IMF reports, it has recorded economic growth of 2% despite the restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic and boasts an annual GDP of USD 68.8 billion in 2021.

With strong GDP growth averaging around 8% between 2012 and 2018, it ranks among the 10 fastest growing economies in the world and the fastest in Africa. Having become the hub of West Africa, it is the first economy in the West African Economic and Monetary Zone, producing 40% of its GDP.
